Choosing a PCO (Pest Control Operator) is a serious matter. You want someone who is honest, dependable, state-certified, and who adheres to a strict code of ethics.

Here are some important things to ask when deciding on the best pest control professional to service your home or business.

• How much experience do you have in the industry, and with my particular pest problem?

• Do you use Integrated Pest Management techniques when possible?

• Are you state-certified?

• How do you expect to be paid? Do you accept checks? Credit cards?

• Is yours a locally owned company? Do you live nearby?

• Do you belong to any professional pest control organizations like the National Pest Management Association, the International Pest Control Operators Network, or your state pest management organization?

• What is your warranty policy?

• May I have the names of a few references?
